It's Monday! What are you reading?

Do you ever have days where you're not sure what you're reading? And it's so bad you have to look it up? This is where I am today. So, after checking Goodreads, it appears that I think I'm reading:

Aquicorn Cove by Katie O'Neill, which is true, I've almost finished it and it is delightful. Also, Goodreads lists the author as Kay O'Neill, but as you can see from the cover, that is wrong!

The Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater: Essays on Crafting by Alanna Okun and read by the author. This is also true, and also delightful!

The Hobbit, or There and Back Again by JRR Tolkien, read by GOLLUM HIMSELF Andy Serkis. This is true and OMG is it amazing. He did the Gollum voice y'all. He does voices for everyone. It is seriously fantastic and I actually find myself looking forward to September when LOTR comes out, also read by Serkis. I haven't never made it past Tom Bombadil, and since Serkis actually sings the songs, I think I'll make it this time!

Goodreads seems to think I'm also reading A Declaration of the Rights of Magicians by H.G. Parry which is patently false. I WAS reading it, but I haven't picked it up in a couple of weeks which is a dang shame as I was actually enjoying it.

AND, what Goodreads DOES NOT KNOW, I'm reading Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir, mainly because I haven't told it I'm reading it. I tried reading this in audio when it first came out, but it didn't work out. READING the text myself seems to be.

So, what are you reading this week?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

  1. Oooh, that audio version of The Hobbit sounds amazing!

And Goodreads definitely needs a "DNF" status! I never know what to do with a book I said I was currently reading that I gave up on - it just sits there.

Hope you've been enjoying your reading this week and that it's been more memorable!
